Drinking Water with Intention

The phrase, “Think it while you drink it!” caught my eye.  This phrase is the registered trademark of H2om water.  I came across this phrase on Daily Om.

A featured product that day was the New Signature Series Refillable Stainless Steel beverage containers.  The containers came in 7 colors, each correlated to a chakra and imprinted with an inspirational word for that chakra.

I was hooked. I ordered the blue container with the word “PEACE” on it. Blue is my favorite color and I have been a peacenik for decades. Remember Peace Train by Cat Stevens and Visualize World Peace bumper stickers?

The idea behind H2om water is that since water is receptive to energy, you can infuse your water with an intention and that intention goes into the water and into your body.  This follows along with the new consciousness about water as developed by Dr. Masaru  Emoto.

Dr. Emoto did many experiments to show that thoughts and feelings (energy)  can affect physical matter, in this case, water. He exposed water to different spoken and written words, as well as music. He froze the water and took photographs of the water crystals. Positive words formed beautiful crystals, while negative words did not.

I was familiar with the affect of energy on water from using Reiki on water. You could check the change in energy with your pendulum.  At Ozark Research Institute’s prayer circles, they ended prayers with “love and gratitude”. I felt the words love and gratitude so powerful that I wanted to be reminded of the feeling frequently. I began labeling our large water containers with “love and gratitude”.

Every time I poured water at home into a glass, I read the words and felt the feeling. Yet, whenever I went out I used a plastic water bottle to transport my filtered water.  I had tried other stainless steel containers, but they did not feel comfortable,  nor inspiring.  My H2om Peace container has a large mouth so ice cubes fit in. It feels comfortable to hold and it has an easy twist off top.

I just finished visioning for the new year.  I wrote a page of affirmative statements  that is in my office and in my kitchen.  I will read a different affirmation each time I stop to drink water. As I ordered my container from the Daily Om website link, I did not read the website until I began to write this post.

Do check out the wonderful story behind the company and their intentions: http://www.waterwithintention.com/
