Are you setting SMART Goals?

Traditional institutions and businesses like to set SMART Goals.

SMART Goals are identified by these characteristics:goal_setting

  • Specific
  • Measurable
  • Attainable or Actionable
  • Realistic
  • Time-Oriented

Deborah Donndelinger, an EFT and Human Design practitioner has created her own version of SMART Goals:

  • Says Yes
  • Meaningful
  • Available
  • Relief
  • Trust

This prompted me to think about how I could make my goals more aligned with my values using the acronym SMART.

Here is my version:

S     spiritually significant to me

M    makes my heart sing

A      accepting and open

R      resonates with all parts of me

T      trusting in universal timing

Now I can compare my goals to the criteria I have chosen. What is your version of SMART Goals?
