Welcoming the New Year

The New Year has arrived stormy and cold here in the United States. It seems that even the weather is conspiring to help us turn inward and be more reflective. Two important challenges coming up for this year, shared by Karen Curry, Human Design teacher and author are examining what has value and meaning in our life and abundance.

The struggle to find meaning in life, to make sense of outer events, frustrations and breakdowns, invites us to ask questions. What is meaningful to you? What is valuable and important to you?

I find that contemplating such questions leads away from externally driven goal setting and unrealistic resolutions and opens the mind to intentions.

Setting intentions is inviting the universe in to co-create the world you wish to see. Setting intentions invites you to ask how do you wish to feel ? How do you wish to show up in the world?

This New Year I was able to participate in two wonderful meditation events, one led by Rev. Anne Presuel of the Divine Business Club and the other led by astrologer Marina Ormes of Astrology Heals and creator of Manifesting with Moon Cycles.

As I set goals, I can check to see if these goals are in alignment with my intentions and my values.

To get you started for the New Year, coach and speaker, George Ira Carroll asks, how will you fill in the blanks?
