Spring Thaw

Spring Thaw

Although I now live in the South, still a recent transplant from the Northeast, I feel as though I have been buried under several feet of snow. After months of outer physical clearing and inner emotional release, I feel the need to slow down again. This time the slowing down is at an even deeper level, not taking a break so I can begin again. But getting very still and waiting. This is a very new experience for me.

Did You Miss the New Year?

Did You Miss the New Year?

Once upon a time I only knew about one New Year’s event and that was on January 1st . Later I found out about other cultures and countries that celebrated New Year’s on different dates, like Greek Orthodox New Year and Chinese New Year.

~ My October Observations ~

Well, October arrived and it’s almost over. Many things have changed or occurred. And I got to make some decisions.

Angelic Synchronicity

Angelic Synchronicity

A few days before the New Year, I was reading a blog and came across Awakening to Your Divine Self– an Oracle Card Deck. It is a wonderfully unique deck. It was created by 39 intuitive artists and healers from around the world. As I read about their Soul Inspired Vision, I wanted to order the deck. On the website, you are invited to browse through the gallery and purchase your deck from the individual artist.

Shifts, Breakdowns, and Chaos - Oh My! Part One

Shifts, Breakdowns, and Chaos – Oh My! Part One

This fall has been extremely packed with lots of astrological events, eclipses, and an intense Mercury retrograde period.

Previously, I could feel the universal energies and still move through my day to day activities including meditation and reflection. Then everything began to unravel. It started innocently enough.

Are You Putting Yourself Last?

Are You Putting Yourself Last?

Nancy felt shaky as she walked down the hall at her workplace. She had an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. “Maybe I should have eaten breakfast this morning,” she thought. “And I fell asleep last night without calling mom again.” But at least, I am prepared for my presentation today.” Beads of sweat trickled down her chest as she reached forward for her notes. She shrieked in pain as she slid to the floor. “Oh no, not again!”

Summer Reflections

Something NEW! Read my article below, or click here to listen to it.

This summer has flown by, despite my slowing down. Perhaps that’s the secret. I have been enjoying what I am learning through decluttering and organizing. So many breakthroughs and “ah ha” moments for me.

Are Your Big Dreams Keeping You Stuck?

Are Your Big Dreams Keeping You Stuck?

There is a lot of material written by coaches and healers about going for your big dream. Live your best life, live your biggest life.

I found that this question doesn’t help me or my clients. It pushes many people into being judgmental about their life. Do you remember the commercial, where an older woman says, “I don’t want to run a marathon, I just want to be able to give my grandson a bath.”

Spring, Simplicity and Slowing Down

Spring, Simplicity and Slowing Down

I had been trying all winter to be more focused and in the moment and it didn’t work. I think that I had some preconceived ideas of what being in the moment would look like and feel like.

I wanted my meditation time to be more structured. I was pushing to try to meditate the same time every day, even though that has never really worked for me.

Are You Struggling to Be Perfect?

Are You Struggling to Be Perfect?

Recently, I spent quite a bit of time trying to do a class exercise. The exercise was Imagining your Perfect Average Day as presented by Frank Kern. While the exercise is certainly useful, I found that focusing on specific details was actually causing me great distress.
